Is it time for Mid-Year rest?

In June, I took some time out to see where I was in my life, and I realized that some areas were further than others, but there were some things I was behind in.

There were 8 areas that I had to address:

  • Health 
  • Finances
  • Spiritual Development
  • Work
  • Relationships
  • Family
  • Recreation
  • Personal Development

As I went through each one, I gave them a rating, 1 (not satisfied)- 10 (on track).

The areas with lower scores reminded me I have an opportunity to make some adjustments. The ones with the higher scores were the areas that I was focusing on the most. Either way, I now knew what areas I need to work on, so I created new goals to make it happen.

I recorded a podcast episode that goes into details about a mid-year rest.

  1. Over life assessment
  2. Get outside
  3. Make sure you are getting rest
  4. Take a social media break
  5. Self-care (a must)
  6. Evaluate your relationships
  7. Re-evaluate your career
  8. How are YOU?
  9. Take time out in the morning and before you go to bed for quiet time
  10. Do some mental and physical cleaning in your life
