Let me ask you a question. Do you wake up every morning motivated?
Now understand if you lost a loved one, are sick, or struggling with depression, you may not wake up motivated, and that is ok.
What I am talking about is your mindset.
Right now, you may be going through something that makes it hard to see the light when things around you are currently dark. So you are praying that things turn around soon so you can finally enjoy the life you want.
To help me start my day, one thing that I do is say a positive affirmation. Something that I can repeat to myself repeatedly when I am feeling down, unmotivated, discouraged, or stressed.
This helps me focus on what I need to do and where I am trying to get to.
If you do not have an affirmation that you use daily, start your statement with I AM, I CAN, or I WILL, followed by a positive statement.
- “I will start that business”
- “I can lose this weight”
- “I am debt-free”
- “I have more than enough money to pay my bills”
- “I will make my dreams a reality”
- “I am a good mom”
Once you create 1-5 affirmations that you can say to yourself daily, keep a notebook and create a list of affirmations that you can apply to every area of your life, that way when you need some encouragement, pull out your notebook and take what you need!
